I wrote and self-published my first book a year after I graduated from college. I didn't have any formal writing training; in fact I received my degree
in Chemistry while trying my very best to stay away from any course that would require too much of that scandalous activity of the mind, but what I did have was a
desire to share a story, a story that I believed to be so intriguing that my broken words and nefarious dialect could not do it any harm.
It was the story of my life in college and the drama that unfolded while trying to become a member of a fraternity.
I called the book In the Name of Brotherhood. Later the title of the book was changed to Pledge Brothers and even later a version of the book
with female characters was created with a title of The Secret Sisterhood.
This book spawned a series of books including all those in the College Greek Book Series as well as the Hazing Awareness Scholarship.
Also, I created an independent movie over In the Name of Brotherhood and received nationwide distribution for it which opened the door for
the two Secret Sisterhood movies I created; the titles of the movies were changed to Tha Brothahood and Tha Sistahood which was out of my control. These
indie movies were received with mixed emotions and sparked much debate among college greek communities while taking on a life of their own. Many of my
products were highly sought after among college students and had become collectibles.
THANK YOUS AND MOTIVATION
From scratch I built a business that was A+ Rated with the Better Business Bureau and over the years, my books and indie movies have been praised, ridiculed, modeled, mocked and mimicked and I have enjoyed every minute of it! I've had an opportunity to meet
many great people and work with so many unrecognized creative souls. I am grateful, very grateful.
To the students that supported all my college greek books and movies over the years - I say THANK YOU!
To the people that were not sudents and still supported all my indie college greek projects over the years - I say THANK YOU!
To all my business associates - I say THANK YOU!
To the haters, please hang around, I need you! Oh and I say THANK YOU!
Lastly, to all the wonderful people that said to me, "I've always wanted to write a book" - I say to you JUST START WRITING! Write something everyday!
Don't worry about all the particulars of life that keep you from doing it or naysayers that may not support you, simply write, good bad or ugly, just write!
I'VE MOVED ON
Farewell, some time ago I sold some of my projects and retired from all things college greek. It was time for me to move on. I'm excited about meeting new challenges and pursuing new opportunites.
You may still find someone selling a book or movie here or there but I've moved on. There is no need to pay as most of my books can be found in Libraries across the nation
(see below). Also, you may find a few items listed from different sellers at Amazon.
